From childhood friends to founders, Paul and Mike always knew they wanted to create something together. Driven by a shared passion for fitness, nutrition, and the desire to eat ice cream every day like when they were kids, they combined the best of both worlds to create Protein Pints: a delicious, protein ice cream.

Together they embarked on a journey to create a product that would satisfy their cravings without compromising their health goals. Ice Cream with protein-packed nutrition, natural ingredients, low in sugar, and an unbeatable taste. Following countless hours of research, development, and collegiate pitch competitions, Protein Pints was perfected and ready to be shared with the world in five delicious flavors.

Our mission is simple: We are helping people enjoy their protein. We want to provide everyone from athletes to everyday health-conscious individuals with a dessert that not only tastes amazing but also supports their nutritional goals. Today, Protein Pints is redefining what it means to enjoy functional ice cream, guilt free, and they’re just getting started.

Paul

Paul Reiss, from Hudsonville, MI, is the co-founder of Protein Pints. After growing tired of chalky and bland protein products, he co-founded Protein Pints to create the tastiest way to protein, ever. Now, he enjoys hitting his nutrition goals while eating ice cream every day!

21-year-old Co-Founder and CEO Paul Reiss studied accounting and finance at Aquinas College before transferring to Michigan State University this year. He is also a former multi-sport athlete and recovering ice cream addict.

Mike

Michael Meadows co-founded Protein Pints to combine his love for ice cream with nutrition. As the company’s activator, he leads manufacturing and operations. His vision: make Protein Pints a household name, delivering delicious, healthy ice cream worldwide.

21-year-old Co-Founder and COO Michael Meadows studied engineering and entrepreneurship at the University of Michigan. He is also the Accelerator Program Director for Maximize Venture Catalyst.

Chris

Chris McKellar, a lifelong creator in music, design, and food, thrives on inspiring change. Nine years after founding Love’s Ice Cream in Grand Rapids, MI, he joined Mike and Paul to launch Protein Pints over a shared love of fitness, food, and entrepreneurship. As principal formulator, he perfects the recipes for our functional ice creams.

Confectionery Advisor Chris McKellar is the owner of Love’s Ice Cream in the Downtown Market, Grand Rapids. He has worked in the ice cream industry for over a decade, amassing years of confectionery and nutritional experience.
